Community Visioning: Community Volunteers

Storefront is participating in an exciting community visioning initiative in Jackson Ward. We are planning, designing, and hosting a variety of community events and visioning activities. We are seeking volunteers to attend events to help staff build capacity. Prior to events, we will hold orientations to help you understand your role. In addition, we are seeking additional opportunities in the spring/summer to hold small engagement activities in the neighborhood.

Opportunity #1: Volunteer at a Community Visioning Event. The next event will take place on February 11, 2023 at Calhoun Center. Commitment ranges from 2-8 hrs. depending on your availability. Future events will take place in May and November.

Opportunity #2: Be an on call volunteer in spring/summer to attend small engagement activities in the Jackson Ward neighborhood. Commitment ranges from 2-8 hrs. depending on your availability.
