Volunteer

Storefront for Community Design provides ongoing volunteer opportunities in our low-cost design and planning assistance and design education programs. We seek residents and professionals passionate about community voice, equitable design, and collaborative partnerships.

Charitable Giving Through Your Estate

Incorporating charitable donations in your estate plan is a wonderful way to create your legacy, and advance planning can help ensure that you achieve the most tax savings available while meeting your charitable goals. Options for including charitable giving within your estate plan are varied, and your attorney will help you determine which makes the most sense for you. A couple of the most common ways are:

  • Bequest in your will or revocable trust

  • Name a charity as the beneficiary of your retirement account or life insurance policy
